Kristin Unruh is a Calgary born, Edmonton-based actor, dancer and singer who is thrilled to be in their final year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting here at the University of Alberta. Kristin is so grateful for all the opportunities she has had while studying at the U of A, and for all the wonderful teachers and artists she has learned from along the way. Before moving to Edmonton for post-secondary, Kristin grew up dancing at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Calgary, where they focussed heavily on jazz and tap dance, and was introduced to ideas of artistry and improvisation that continue to shape who they are as an artist today. Select credits include (Thunder)CATS The Musical (The Grindstone Theatre), Brontë (The U of A Studio Theatre), Macbeth (The University of Alberta), Feast (at The Edmonton Fringe Festival), and Win the Warrior (at The Edmonton Fringe Festival). This Studio Season, Kristin also performed in Weasel by Beth Graham and will be performing in The Devils by John Whiting.
