Emily Lizotte

Cast, Bougrelas, Stanislas Leczinski, Russian Army

Emily Lizotte (she/they) is a neurodivergent, multidisciplinary theatre artist based in amiskwacîwâskahikan, Treaty 6 territory (Edmonton, Alberta). She started her career in the performing arts in dance, but later transitioned their focus to theatre. She is so excited to bring you into the wacky world of Ubu Roi. To her, Ubu Roi represents the absurdity of constructs like war and social hierarchy. Selected theatre credits include: Weasel (Studio Theatre), Brontё (Studio Theatre), Macbeth (University of Alberta), Our Town (University of Alberta), People in Cages (New Works Festival), and The Drowning Girls (Edmonton Fringe). You can also see them in Studio Theatre’s upcoming show The Devils. Thank you for supporting live theatre!
