Katie Yoner

Katie Yoner (she/her) is an actor, comedian, writer and singer currently residing in Treaty 6 territory in the area traditionally known as Amiswaciy Waskahikan (Edmonton). She has studied acting and writing at the University of Calgary as well as Lancaster University, UK, and is currently completing her final year of a BFA in Acting at the University of Alberta. Katie is passionate about comedy, physical theatre, and new structures of creative collaboration. She recently co-created and performed as an artist-in-residence with the Play the Fool Festival in the show Rat Academy, which she is currently self-producing for a multi-province fringe tour in 2023. Recent theatre credits include Ubu Roi (Studio Theatre), Puppet Shakespeare (Thou Art Here/Freewill), Win the Warrior (Edmonton Fringe), the self-created juggling show Two Pin Idiot (Edmonton Fringe) and Weasel (Studio Theatre).
