Emma is currently completing her fourth and final year of the BFA Technical Production Program. Her role as the Assistant Technical Director for this production has left her with many new skills in regard to management, carpentry, rigging, and communication. This is the second Studio Theatre production she has ATD’d for, the first being Dracula (Dir. Kathleen Weiss), and she previously Technical Directed for BLT’s Agamemnon (Dir. Jake Planinc). Outside of the university, Emma was part of an independent double-feature dance production, Basin (Prod. Kate Stashko) and Espartanae (Perf. Deviani Andrea), where she served as the Technical Director, Stage Manager, and sound and lighting operator. Beyond receiving her degree, Emma’s plan is to continue working in the technical field and to eventually land a role as a Head of Department or Technical Director.
